Kidz Kitchen Website Ordering Terms and Conditions

This agreement describes the terms and conditions on which we (Kidz Kitchen) supply any of the meals available for purchase through our website www.kidzkitchen.co.uk and associated website schooldinners.kidzkitchen.co.uk . Please be aware that we act as an agent for the supply of School meals to your School. Any monies received as payment for meals ordered through the site are retained by Kidz Kitchen as settlement of the catering service provided to the school.

  • kidzkitchen.co.uk is a site operated by Kidz Kitchen Limited, under an agreement for the school. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 08174862. Our VAT registration number is 140582236. Our registered address is Kidz Kitchen Ltd, Units 4 & 6 Great Northern Way, Great Northern Terrace, Lincoln. LN5 8HJ
  1. ACCESS TO OUR SITE
  • Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis, we reserve the right to withdraw this access or the services we provide at any time. We shall not be held liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time.
  • If you register and order any meals via our web site, you are bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
  • We reserve the right, at our discretion to update or revise these Terms and Conditions, please check periodically for any such changes. You will be bound by any Terms and Conditions from the first time you use the web site following such changes.
  • Our site is intended and limited for use only by parents of the Schools that we supply, and those Schools that have asked us to provide an online ordering service.
  1. YOUR ACCOUNT
  • Persons under the age of 18 should only use this website with the supervision of an adult. Any payment information should be supplied by an adult.
  • In order to purchase meals for your child via this web site you are required to register via the login/register screen. Once registered, you can login into your account using your email and password used at the time of set up. It is recommended that you do not share your account details with anyone else. Kidz Kitchen accepts no liability for any losses or damages incurred as a result of your account details being shared by you. If you are worried that your password may have been discovered, you can reset this via your Account “Dashboard”
  • You accept responsibility for the information that you provide to Kidz Kitchen.
  • You must keep all information accurate and up to date.
  • By creating an account, and opting in, you are allowing Kidz Kitchen to use your email to remind you to order your children’s meals and from time to time to contact you regarding your account or order. We will not use your email for any other marketing purposes. You can opt out of the email reminders at any time by changing your preferences in your account.
  • You can close your account or remove any of your children’s details by login in and visiting your dashboard and clicking [Update your details] for closing your account or [my children] then [view/edit] to remove a child’s details.

 

  1. ORDERING
  • Once you have entered details of you children you will be able to purchase their meals.
  • You will be presented with a list of weeks that you may pre-order meals for. Meals should be ordered on a minimum weekly basis. You may select and order more than one week at a time.
  • One Main Meal Option and One Dessert Option must be selected for each of the days for which you wish to order.
  • Once you have selected meals for the week you will be asked to either confirm (if your child is a Free School Meal or Universal Free School Meal) or Add to Basket for those parents who are not entitled to either a Free School or Universal Free School Meal.
  • If your child is entitled to a Free School or Universal Free School Meal, once your selection is confirmed the payment process will be skipped and your meals will be ordered. please ensure you confirm for each week that you are ordering.
  • If you pay for your children’s meals you will need to go to your basket and complete the payment process, before your order will be accepted. Payment must be completed (at the latest) by 12:10pm on the Thursday prior to the week that the meals are required. If payment has not been received by the 12:10pm deadline they will be removed from your basket. The cost per meal (main and dessert) will be advertised on your main Dashboard after you login. Prices are liable to change at any time; however, we will give sufficient notice via your parent Dashboard. Payments must be made in GBP
  • Parents whose children are in Reception, Yr1 or Yr2 and all others that receive a Free School Meal can edit their choices up to Thursday noon prior to the week the meals are required. Parents that pay for their children’s meals will need to contact Kidz Kitchen if they wish to amend or edit their meal choices. Please contact info@kidzkitchen.co.uk with your child’s name and school along with the details of the amendments that you wish to make. We can then edit the selections for you and either issue you with a credit or payment request.
  • Late orders i.e. after the deadline will only be accepted with the prior approval of your school.
  • Parents who have selected the option “Free School Meals” when adding their children will not be able to order any meals, until Kidz Kitchen has verified the information with your School. If you are not sure whether your child is a Free School Meal (income based) or Universal Free School Meal (reception, year 1 and year 2 only), please check with your school beforehand.
  • Orders will not be accepted after 12pm (midday) on a Thursday for the following week. An email reminder will be sent on Wednesday, if you have opted in to receive the reminders.
  • School Holidays – All orders for a new term must be placed before the end of term.
  • The onus is on you as a parent, to ensure that all information supplied by you for your children is kept relevant and up to date. Particularly at the start of a new school year, when your child has changed year group and class as well as eligibility for a Universal School Meal or Free School Meal
  • If you wish to cancel a meal, you must notify Kidz Kitchen as soon as possible. Cancellations can not be accepted after 8am on the day of the required meal. To cancel a meal please email info@kidzkitchen.co.uk or telephone 01522 536450
  • Refunds for cancelled meals, will be credited to the card used for payment, please allow up to 5 working days.
  • Allergen information for all meals is available to download from our website.

 

  1. DATA PROTECTION
  • Any personal information that we collect, will be used in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Regulation (EU) 2016/679). The details that we collect will be used as follows;
    • To provide our service to the user
    • To comply with legal requirements
    • We will not pass on or sell any of your information to any 3rd party
    • We will not contact you for any marketing purposes

  • All content included on this website, unless uploaded by users or 3rd parties, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, sound clips, video clips, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software are owned by Kidz Kitchen Limited.
  • You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store or in any other fashion re-use the material from this website unless given express written permission to do so by Kidz Kitchen Ltd.

 

  1. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
  • Kidz Kitchen accepts no liability for any direct or indirect loss or damage, foreseeable or otherwise, including any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of this website, or any services provided on it, or any information contained within. Users should be aware that they use this website at their own risk. Your statutory legal rights remain unaffected.

 

  1. AVAILABILTY AND DELIVERY
  • Your order will be delivered to your child’s school at the pre-determined time as set by the receiving school, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
  • We will endeavour to provide you with all ordered products. From time to time we may be unable to supply you with the exact product as ordered. Where appropriate we will endeavour to provide a substitute product of a similar description.
  • If, for any reasons out of our control, we are unable to fulfil your order, we will issue a refund directly back to the card used for payment.
